Problem Description

BBC network configuration, configuration prompts IP conflict, configuration cannot be performed

Effective troubleshooting steps

  1. The client is using BBC 2.5.0 version. When configuring the IP in the 172.17 network segment, it prompts that the IP conflict cannot be configured.

  2. Communicate with R&D to confirm that the network segment used by the docker of the lower version of BBC is too large. It uses the network segment 172.16.0.0/16, which is easy to conflict with the customer's intranet segment. You can upgrade to a version after BBC2.5.3 to solve the problem.

Root cause

The network segment of BBC's docker conflicts with the network segment of the customer's intranet, resulting in a configuration failure. This problem exists in versions prior to 253 and is resolved after upgrading to version 253.
