【NGAF】Security capability show “Unavailable”

Issue Description

Latest version on Security Capability show "Unavailable"

Error/Warning Information

Handling Process

  1. Check is the device able to connect to internet or not.
  2. Try to change to other server in Intellgence Source, but result are the same.
  3. Try to resolve server domain(update1.sangfor.net), but result is slow.
  4. Run the script sh -x /usr/sbin/update_test.sh -A 0.0.0.0 -T network, found that it unable to resolve the domain.

Root Cause

  1. domain unable to resolve or take time to resolve, caused the checking mechanism detect the connection as failed.
  2. patch change the timeout from 0.1s to 1.1s

Solution

Contact specialist to get patch(KB-AF-20211103-UpdateServerTimeout) or backend modification
