Issue Description

As per checking from resoure allocation from web UI, GPU resources is sufficient, however still unable to powered on the vm in VMP.

Error/Warning Information

Handling Process

1. Try powered off unused vGPU vm also can’t powered on the vm.
2. Identify that it’s a known issue before VDI 5.4.5 version and using T4 graphic card, execute /sf/debug/vgpu_load_rebuild.pl to release GPU resources.
3. After execute the command, VM able to power on successfully.

Root Cause

Known issue before 5.4.5 version and using T4 graphics. It’s a NVIDIA known bug before 9.1 version and resolved in 9.2 version (correspond to VDI 5.4.5 and later version).

Solution

Temporary solution : Backend execute command to release vGPU resources.
Permanent solution : Upgrade to VDI 5.4.5 or later version.
