Problem Description

After installing Ubuntu 16.04, the graphical interface starts but the cursor is not visible. However, it is still possible to click and the mouse pointer is not visible.

Root Cause

Mouse type not compatible.

Solution

Take a snapshot of the virtual machine before performing any operations.

  1. Change the mouse type to PS2 type, and it can be recognized normally.
