[SCP] The CPU and memory usage of the resource pool exceeds 100%

Problem Description

SCP Licensing the Resource Pool Overview and found that the CPU and memory usage exceeded 100%.

Effective troubleshooting steps

This problem may be caused by two reasons:

  1. The Tenant Allocate a quota that exceeds the upper limit of the resource pool; Tenant Quota can be Revoke;
  2. The customer environment does not have any Tenant, but the customer has been creating a large number of Virtual Machine on HCI and then synchronized them to SCP, which will cause the Quota usage to exceed the Quota limit;
    The customer reporting the problem meets reason 2;

    Root cause

    Customers create cloud hosts on HCI and are not subject to SCP Quota constraints.

    solution

    Adjust the Resource Pool Quota limit for SCP
