[SCP] An error message appears when logging into the DMP console in SCP, and garbled characters are displayed

Problem Description

When logging in to the DMP console in SCP, an error message appears, with garbled characters

Warning Information

Effective troubleshooting steps

  1. Try changing the browser and the problem persists;
  2. Verify that the current DMP version is 2.1.8 and the SCP version is 6.7.0. The 2.1.8 version of DMP is only compatible with 6.3.80R3 and 6.7.30 versions of SCP, so garbled characters will be prompted.
    Since the customer's SCP was already version 6.7.0, the problem was eventually solved by upgrading SCP to version 6.7.30.

Root cause

This is caused by a mismatch between the DMP and SCP versions.

solution

Upgrade the device to a matching version to resolve the issue.

Suggestions and Conclusion

The attachment is the DMP Version Upgrade Roadmap – 2.1.9_20220125. If you encounter DMP-related issues, you can first check whether the version matches the SCP platform.
In addition, one more thing to note is that since DMP uses the SCP account system, DMP only supports logging in to the console from SCP and cannot be logged in directly through the IP or port.
