【BBC】After upgrading from 2.5.3 to 2.5.16, all branches failed to connect to BBC

Problem Description

After upgrading the BBC device of version 2.5.3 to 2.5.16, the customer found that all branches were offline.

Effective troubleshooting steps

  1. Test that the branch to BBC network and ports are both accessible

  2. Log in to the BBC console to check that the port used for BBC access is 5001

Root cause

BBC standard version 2.5.9 and above start to support the cloud-based easy deployment function. The cloud-based easy deployment function uses TCP and UDP port 5001, which conflicts with the branch access port (port 5001) configured by the previous customer in version 2.5.3, causing the branch device to go offline

solution

Change the BBC access port to 5000, and map the BBC export gateway to port 5000 (it is recommended to map the BBC export external network to 5001 and the internal network to BBC port 5000, so that there is no need to modify the branch configuration)
