【BBC】BBC2.5.16 failed to send the upgrade task to WOC9.5.6

Problem Description

The customer's BBC2.5.16 device sent an upgrade task to WOC9.5.6, but the upgrade failed

Effective troubleshooting steps

  1. Check the BBC upgrade log of the WOC device and you can see a large number of faild logs, as shown below:

  1. After entering the WOC device background, check cat /var/bbc/log/bbc_ssu_upgrade.log, and you can find the reason why the WOC device upgrade failed: insufficient wanacc disk space

Root cause

The upgrade package sent by BBC is successful, but there is an exception when loading the upgrade package on WOC. The reason is that the wanacc disk space is insufficient (wanacc requires 1G space to upgrade normally)

solution

Delete the backup blackbox in the /wanacc/blackbox_packup/ directory. Keep only 7 days. Delete the rest.

Suggestions and Conclusion

  1. If the upgrade task issued by BBC fails, it generally indicates that there may be problems in the upgrade process of the underlying branch device.

  2. If there is a problem with the branch upgrade, you can check the log file cat /var/bbc/log/bbc_ssu_upgrade.log to see if there are any obvious errors.

  3. In addition, you can also check /datacache/bbc/upgrade/ and /datacache/bbc/upgrade_pkg/ in the branch to see if the upgrade package has been issued normally.

  4. According to /etc/sinfor/bbc/upgrade/upgrade_status.log, you can check the status of the upgrade task issued by BBC.

  5. If the BBC device itself has a problem, you can check sfvt_bbc_upgrade_srv.log
