【BBC】SDW-R4.0.14 installation upgrade image failed, error code: 1

Problem Description

SDW-R4.0.14 installation upgrade image failed, error code: 1, please contact Sangfor technical staff for processing!

Effective troubleshooting steps

  1. Check cat /sf/log/today/sfvt_image_manager.log in the background and find the error of the corresponding upgrade package. This error is code:1 output, which is a normal exit.

  2. Confirm the BBC version. Standard POC solution: SDW-R4.0.14 needs to be compatible with BBC2.5.24.

  3. Confirm the upgrade package. Since SDW-R is divided into X86 and ARM platforms, the upgrade template package must use the for_bbc.ssu or .bbc file.

Root cause

The upgraded version of SDW-R is not compatible with the BBC version.

solution

  1. After upgrading BBC to 2.5.24, upgrade the SDW-R4.0.14FOR_BBC.ssu template package.

  2. Import the basic image package of SDW-R4.0.14.bbc.

You can choose one of the two. It is recommended to use the first solution to keep the versions compatible.
