【BBC】The large screen only displays one-way traffic diagram

Problem Description

When a customer deploys SDWAN networking and displays the application routing of VPN traffic on the BBC screen, only the application routing from headquarters to branches can be seen, but not the application routing from branches to headquarters.

Effective troubleshooting steps

  1. First, confirm that the customer currently has traffic from the branch to the headquarters;

  2. Check the customer's current template configuration. The headquarters device has the headquarters-branch template configuration.

Check the template configuration of the branch and find that no configuration has been delivered

  1. Check the reason why the routing configuration on BBC failed to be delivered. It was found that the branch routing template on BBC failed to be delivered. The application rule base did not match.

  1. Compare the application rule base of the branch device with the BBC rule base and find that the time is indeed inconsistent. The branch rule base needs to be upgraded.

  1. Download the rule base upgrade package from FTP and import it to the SDWAN-R device offline.

Root cause

The SDWAN-R device rule base does not match the BBC, resulting in the failure of the BBC to send the branch routing template configuration. Therefore, the branch to headquarters routing traffic diagram cannot be seen on the large screen.

solution

After upgrading the branch device rule base, re-issue the routing rule configuration.
