[BBC] AC12.0.17 is connected to BBC2.5.11, and the configuration cannot be sent from BBC to the AC device

Problem Description

Branch AC12.0.17 is connected to BBC2.5.11. Configuration cannot be delivered to AC devices from BBC. AC device log reports an error: The device did not report a legal configuration, resulting in failure to deliver configuration

Effective troubleshooting steps

  1. Check the BBC error and AC device log error, both indicate that the legal configuration is not reported.

  2. Find the AC device on the BBC, and then manually report the configuration of the AC device. The BBC reports an error and the reporting timeout occurs.

  3. Because the branch AC device reported a configuration exception, the VPN reporting interface was executed in the background of the AC device, curl http://127.0.0.1:1003/v1/vpn/cfg/download, and the error was as follows:

  1. Check the main webagent in the basic VPN settings of the AC device and find no abnormalities. Check the webagent in the connection management and find obvious abnormalities, as shown in the following figure:

Root cause

The main webagent format in the branch AC device connection management is incorrect, resulting in the inability to upload the configuration to the BBC, causing an exception when the configuration is sent down.

solution

Modify the main webagent in the connection management of the branch AC, exit the BBC to modify, then reconnect to the BBC, find the AC branch point on the BBC, manually report the VPN configuration once, and then the configuration can be sent normally.
