[BBC] The device in the BBC VPN configuration displays an alarm–one of the VPN multiple lines is not connected

Problem Description

The device in the BBC VPN configuration shows that it is always alarming, but the VPN connection of the access device and the BBC access are normal. There are no system log alarms or errors in the VPN. The VPN connection management and user management are all in normal use and the connection is normal.

Process——

  1. Check the configuration on BBC. The branch is connected to BBC normally, and the VPN is connected to the branch normally.

  2. Check the branch access device AF. User management users are in normal use, VPN connection management is also in use, and there is no error in the VPN system log.

  3. After checking, it was found that the VPN had 2 IP connections, but only one of the multiple VPN connections was connected here, and one line was not connected normally, causing the abnormality

  1. Make sure the two VPN lines are connected normally, and the VPN status is displayed normally without any alarm.

Root cause

If the other end of the VPN connection has multiple lines opened and one line is not connected normally, the VPN module on BBC will also display an alarm

solution

Just make sure the VPN connection is working properly.
