[BBC] The intranet PC cannot access the BBC device because the gateway has ARP proxy enabled.
Problem Description
The PC and BBC device are connected to the same layer 2 switch and belong to the same network segment. The PC pings the BBC IP address but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The console cannot be accessed or is very slow. However, the PC can access the BBC directly.
Effective troubleshooting steps
Check the computer's ARP table and compare it with the BBC interface's ARP table. It is found that the BBC interface MAC address learned by the computer is inconsistent with the BBC interface MAC. It is inferred that the problem is caused by an IP address conflict.

Root cause
After checking the ARP table of the computer, we found that the MAC address corresponding to the BBC address was the same as the MAC address corresponding to the computer's gateway (10.23.4.1). We located that the problem was caused by the gateway device. The customer coordinated with the engineers of the gateway device manufacturer to investigate. It was found that the gateway device had ARP proxy enabled.

solution
After the gateway device turns off the ARP proxy of the BBC address, the PC can access the BBC console and PING normally.
