[BBC] When AC is deployed for easy email deployment, it always prompts that the password length cannot be less than 8 characters

Problem Description

When deploying AC in BBC2.5.11 MailEasy, it prompts that the password length cannot be less than 8 characters, but it is actually 11 characters.

Effective troubleshooting steps

  1. Check that the password length exceeds 8 characters when configuring MailEasy Deployment

  2. Adjust the password complexity and find that it has nothing to do with the complexity. Remove the password and do not send it. Email deployment is successful

Root cause

AC has done a security check and does not verify the plain text password, but the plain text password is sent by BBC.

solution

When deploying AC via Email, no password is sent, just leave the password blank.
