【Cyber Command】Associate multiple Asset with the same mac

Problem Description

The customer's feedback is that the LAN is a static environment, but there are multiple hosts with associated IP Endpoint interface

Effective troubleshooting steps

  1. Confirm that the IP identification method is automatic identification and configure the snmp device

  2. Capture STA for mac on the probe to see if there are multiple IP addresses associated with it
  3. Confirm with the customer that this mac is indeed a mac of the third-layer device
  4. After adding exclusion of the third-layer mac on the platform, delete the misidentified Asset and restore to normal

    Note: Before deleting an Asset, you must confirm with the customer. After deleting the asset, incident corresponding Secure incident will no longer exist.

solution

Re-identify after excluding the MAC of the third-layer device
