Issue Description

MGR was deployed in vCenter, Customer feedback MGR web console sometimes cannot be access, it will auto recovered after few minutes. The issue was happened frequently.

Error/Warning Information

Handling Process

1. Monitor from iotop, found that the iowait of MGR is very high, Try stop the related ES service (Command: /sf/edr/manager/bin/eps_services stop) but there is no improvment.
   

2. Try install VMWare tools in the MGR VM but still result the same iowait result.

3. Perform dd test to test on the disk, as result the vm was having slow performance on the disk.
   

4. Execute the same command in local testing environment to perform the comparison, there is huge difference on the VM disk performance.
   

Root Cause

The slowness is caused by vCenter platform, suggest to check on the virtual storage of vCenter, would require customer to further check with VMWare on the VS health status

Solution

Check with VMWare support to verify on the virtual storage performance.
