[ES] micro-segmentation strategy based on server configuration displays unknown.

Problem Description

In micro-segmentation strategy, the source and destination content of some strategies are displayed as unknown.

Effective Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Click on the strategy corresponding to "unknown" and it will be found that the "unknown" part is based on the server, and a specific server has not been selected.

  1. F12 captures the terminal ID corresponding to the strategy and finds that the status of the searched terminal IDs is all "removed" (specific operations are not demonstrated here).


  1. Conclusion: When micro-segmentation strategy is based on specific server configurations, if the server is removed by the system due to a long offline period (as configured below) or manually removed, it will cause micro-segmentation strategy to display abnormally.

Solution

Temporary solution: You can configure micro-segmentation strategy based on IP group to avoid this issue (without selecting specific terminals).
