Issue Description

User receiving multiple errors on Windows event viewer logs regarding sfwtp service could not be started because it cannot find the specified file.

Handling Process

1. Locate the driver path by looking at the registry.
   

2. Go to the location of the driver and check whether the driver file exists.
   Path: This PC > Local Disk(C: )> Windows> System32> drivers
   

3. Confirmed that the driver is missing.

4. Install the missing file by executing the driver installer.
   Path: This PC > Local Disk(C: )> Program Files > SF > EDR > agent > bin
   

Root Cause

Driver missing / corrupted due to unknown reason on the environment.

Solution

Install the missing driver.
