[Hardware troubleshooting] How to solve the problem of two hard disks with 2 scsi_ID in a server with SN Mon with 9C and F6C

Problem Description

RAID card Model is PM8222 or PM8204
Read scsi_ID command: /lib/udev/scsi_id –whitelisted –repace-whitespace –device=/dev/sdX X is the drive letter

Approach

  1. There are two devices Model Mon model and the same RAID card Model. Swap Mon RAID card of the device reporting the error with the other Mon, power on System check whether the scsi_ID is Mon same.
  2. If there is only Odd server, Mon RAID card should be repaired
    problem Cause:
    RAID card has a problem Obtain scsi_ID Policies. There is a Low probability that 2 hard disks Obtain Mon same scsi_ID. There is None solution for the time being.
