Problem Description

  1. Unplug the power cord and turn off the power for 2 min, then power on again or enter IPMI to Restart BMC.
  2. Always solution, upgrade the BMC to Version V601 or above, and the BIOS must also be upgraded. After upgrading the BIOS, the power needs to be turned off, and the window period needs to be coordinated.
    Cause:
    The raid returns Error data Back-band, causing the storelib library to apply for memory Error, occupying the lock of lib C. The BMC administration and management module cannot send a System Restart message to the BIOS administration and management module because the lock of lib C is occupied. The BIOS administration and management module cannot recognize the OS Restart, resulting in Error Update Finish Status, and ultimately causing the BMC to loop and trigger the OS Restart.
