[aCloud] Explanation of various operation speed restrictions on the hyper-converged platform.

Problem Description

The hyper-converged platform has many operations that are limited in speed, here are the specific speed limits.

Solution

The following limitations are based on the assumption that there is sufficient storage IO performance:

Clone VM speed limit:

  1. The cloning speed is limited to 50MB/s when Power On
  2. Shut Down Clone, unlimited speed.

Virtual machine backup speed limit:

  1. The backup speed before 587R1 was 50MB/s.
  2. From 587R1 onwards, it is possible to manually set the backup speed.

CDP IO log speed limit:

  1. The cdp io log is directly flushed from memory to disk, limited only by the performance of the target location.
