[aCloud] P2V Migration virtual machines prompts “Disks with the same disk ID are not supported in the system”

Problem Description

When using the P2V tool to migrate and check the installation environment, an error message appears, saying "Disks with the same disk ID are not supported in the system."

Process –

  1. Confirm that there is FC storage in the disk and only P2V online migration can be used;
  2. Check the storage and find that the FC storage uses multipathing, which causes the detection of disks with the same disk ID in the system.

Solution

Change the FC storage to a single path and the P2V Migration is successful.
