Problem Description

When starting the MySQL service on the server 2003 virtual machine, an error message is reported: Unable to start MySQL on the local computer, error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

Solution

Right-click the Mysql service properties, select Login – Select this account, enter the administrator account password, save, and restart the virtual machine.
