Problem Description

Distributed Firewall effect on template VMs in VDI VM

Effective troubleshooting steps

1. Check whether the VM VM list page. If not, check whether vmTools is installed.

2. Check on Distributed Firewall page whether the corresponding virtual machine is included in the effective scope of the corresponding VM

3. If not included, the rule will not apply to the VM. In VDI scenarios, Distributed Firewall rules will not apply to template VM
