[IAG] Abnormal status of active/standby deployment indicates heartbeat timeout – high availability is not enabled on the standby machine

Problem Description

In master-slave mode, the host prompts that the heartbeat has timed out, and the synchronization status shows that it is connecting;

Process——

  1. Ping the ha port address of the standby machine from the host machine, and it can be pinged normally;
  2. Telnet from the host to the backup machine's ha port address, port 54320 is blocked;
  3. Unplug the heartbeat cable and log in to the standby machine to check that high availability is not enabled on the standby machine;

Root cause

Active/standby deployment: High availability is enabled only on the active server, but not on the standby server.

solution

Log in to the standby machine and recheck high availability;
