Problem Description

After configuring MAC access across three layers, users bound to MAC cannot access the Internet

Process——

  1. Delete the mac binding, configure the user to use mac as the username without authentication, and check the online user management to see if the user mac is recognized.
  2. Configured MAC across three layers and three snmp servers.

Click on each server list and see that one of the snmp servers cannot obtain the mac

Root cause

An SNMP server cannot obtain the MAC address, causing the device to be unable to obtain the MAC address

solution

Make sure that the snmp servers filled in can obtain the mac

Suggestions and Conclusion

Get MAC across three layers. If one of the added SNMP servers has a problem, the device will have problems getting MAC.
