[IAG] External synchronization error “recv verrsion vertify data FALLED ERRNO 104”

Problem Description

IAG synchronization log to external device reports an error, and the system log prompts "recv verrsion vertify data FALLED ERRNO 104"

Effective troubleshooting steps

  1. Check that the IAG version matches the external version, IAG12.0, DC12.0.7
  2. After packet capture and analysis, it was found that the synchronous packets were also captured on the IAG's WAN port

Root cause

The IAG's packet return route was not written, which resulted in IAG sending packets to the server from the WAN port, and then sending the data packet back after a detour. Causes network abnormality.

solution

Adjusted the packet return route to point to the external synchronization of the intranet switch and it is working properly.
