[IAG] Flow control does not take effect – caused by mismatch of node configuration virtual lines
Problem Description
The flow control channel was configured but did not take effect.
Process——
- It used to be useful. After making a network adjustment, I found that the flow control was no longer effective.
- Log in to the device and find that there are two devices acting as the master at the customer's site. Currently, all traffic runs on node devices. So there is no traffic on the flow control channel on the master
- The node's flow control state is enabled, but all traffic runs on line 2. The flow control channel does not set a strategy for line 2.
485055baeda06be340.png (61.05 KB) - Because the virtual line configuration is not synchronized. However, there is no line 2 on the main control, so there is no flow control channel for line 2. Therefore, we can see that the traffic on the node runs to the default channel and does not match the flow control policy.
solution
After communicating with customers, it is actually not necessary to configure virtual line 2 for node devices.
After deleting line 2, the flow control channel is matched.
