[AF] Email alarm is configured, but Interfaces failure does not send alarm emails: Policies detection needs to be configured

Problem Description

Email alarms are configured, but no alarm emails are sent for Interfaces failures

Process——

  1. Check Policies Layer 3 configuration and find that [Link State] is not configured for detection

  2. After the configuration, the [Link State] of the corresponding Policies Layer 3 shows a fault, and an alarm email is received

Root cause

Link failure detection is enabled in both Interfaces and source address Policies configurations. An Link State Detection will be sent if Policies Layer 3 fails to detect a link failure.

solution

The corresponding Policies Layer 3 is configured with [Link State]. After the failure is displayed, an alarm email is received
