[AF] Abnormal Interface Throughput Graph and Slow Intranet Access

Problem Description

Internet access is slow from intranet computers, and pinging external domain names sometimes results in packet loss.

Process

1. Inquiry with the network operator revealed that the external network bandwidth is only 100M.
2. Check the WAN interface throughput of the device and find that it often reaches 100M.

Root Cause

The operator only provides 100M, while the internal network traffic has reached 100M, resulting in congestion of external network traffic, slow internet access and packet loss.

Solution

1. Ask the operator to increase external network bandwidth.
2. Add bandwidth management policies to limit high bandwidth usage applications on the intranet and reduce the traffic on the intranet.
