【NGAF】Bandwidth Management Module not Working

Problem Description

After configured for bandwidth policy, the bandwidth channel not working.

Handling Process

  1. Checked the bandwidth policy, has no abnormality.

  2. Performed packet capture to identify the traffic flow. Confirmed the traffic in correct route.

  3. Found that the aggr.1 has enabled for WAN attribute. Bandwidth control only limits traffic from LAN to WAN, will not take effective on interface with WAN attribute.

Solution

Disable WAN attribute on aggregrate interfaces. Please note that it will affect the network service, need to arrange downtime for changes.
