【NGAF】DHCP pool exceed maximum 10000 IP address

Issue Description

The certain segment LAN PC unable obtain IP address from the NGAF, checked from the logs which found the error message "total number of IP addresses exceeds the maximum (10000). This pool is banned from use".

Handling Process

  1. Inspect the DHCP IP address Pool and calculate the number of IP address in each of the Pool.
    file
    2.Ensure that the total of the number of IP address in all the Pool does not exceed 10000.

Root Cause

The maximum supported total IP address in the DHCP IP pool is 10000 IP adderss.

Solution

Adjust the IP address range in the DHCP pool to ensure total of IP address in the pool does not exceed 10000 IP address.
