【NGAF】Password Based authentication not working

Issue Description

After configured the Passowrd Based Authentication, the users still able to access internet before they login the authentication page.

Handling Process

1. Checked the Local User and Authentication Policy configuration, both no issue.

2. Tried to login the authentication page, it show error.
   

3. Force logout and relogin again, the issue is same.

Root Cause

1. The http/https traffic is allowed to be access before the authentication.

Solution

1. Access to Authentication Option > Option and disable "Basic services (except HTTP/HTTPS) are available before a user passes authentication" and click save.
   

2. Force logout and access to the website again, the authentication is worked.
