【NGAF】Unable to save Application Control Policy

Issue Description

Unable to save Application Control Policy with "Error : Application/format error".

Handling Process

  1. Dis-select the application and re-select it.
    file

  2. After this, the application policy able to save successfully.

Root Cause

After perform firmware upgrade, application id did not update together. Hence, it was having format mismatch between the application ID in the policy with the corresponding firmware version.

Solution

  1. Re-select the application in the application control policy.

  2. Re-create a new application policy with the same content.
