【AF】IPS Function Module Not Visible with Regular Admin Account

Problem Description

After logging into the firewall console with a regular administrator account, it was discovered that the serial number in the System>System Configuration>General Configuration>License of Function Module shows an IPS function module, but this module is not displayed in the navigation menu.

Process

  1. Log in to the console with the admin account and find that the IPS module can be displayed normally.
  2. Log in to the device with the admin account, select the abnormal account in System>Administrator, and find that this account does not have view permission of the IPS module, as follows:

Solution

Granting the regular administrator account permission to view the IPS module using the admin account will resolve the issue.
