[SCP] SCP alarm Cluster offline

Problem Description

scp alarm Cluster offline

solution

SCP Cluster hyper-converged clusters requires network communication. The network deployment conditions of different clients vary, as follows:

  1. SCP is deployed in the HCI A Cluster. SCP warns that the HCI A Cluster offline. It is recommended to check whether there are any abnormalities Virtual Network Physical Network or virtual network.
  2. SCP is deployed in HCI A Cluster. SCP warns that HCI B Cluster offline. SCP and HCI B Cluster communicate via dedicated lines or multi-layer networks. Network jitter and high latency may occur across multi-layer or dedicated lines. If the scp version is lower than 670, occasional offline alarms can be ignored. If offline alarms continue to appear frequently, it is recommended to check whether there are any abnormalities Virtual Network network or virtual network. If the scp version is 670 or above, if an offline alarm occurs, it is recommended to check whether there is any abnormality Virtual Network Physical Network or virtual network.

Notice:

  1. Versions before SCP670 judge that the hci Cluster is offline if tcping 443 times out for 3s. The Cluster is restored online if tcping 443 is normal 15s after the next detection cycle.
  2. In order to cope with the complex network deployment of SCP and HCI, SCP670 and later versions determine that the condition for Cluster HCI cluster to be offline is three consecutive tcping 443 times out of 3s, and the condition for Cluster to be restored online is that tcping 443 is normal 15s after the next detection cycle.
