Introduction

The Report Center can collect, store, and display data on Sangfor Virtual Desktop Controller (VDC) and Sangfor Virtualization Management Platform (VMP). It can be used for asset management, security policy audits, file export audits, and log audits for aDesk VDI clusters.

Configuration

Report Center Installation

Prerequisites

The Report Center supports installation on Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022. Before installing the Report Center, you must install Windows Server, which can be installed on HCI or the physical server. The server specifications are as follows:

OS Version Functional Requirements Deployment Conditions CPU RAM Disk
Windows Server 2012 (64-bit) Do not audit file content 1. Install Server 2022 on HCI.
2. Install Server 2022 on the physical server.

Integrating Report Center with VDC

Function

The File Export Audit feature and advanced O&M requirements of aDesk VDI rely on the Report Center. The main purpose of this module is to integrate the Report Center with VDC and establish an association between VDC and the Report Center.

Prerequisites

The LAN device allows communication between VDC and the Report Center IP address on TCP port 443.

Precautions

One VDC cluster can only integrate with one Report Center, and one Report Center can only integrate with one VDC cluster.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the VDC console and go to System > Integrated Platforms> Report Center. Select Enable Report Center and enter the corresponding IP Address. After entering the IP address, click the Test Connectivity option to verify if the Report Center is reachable. Click save.

  1. After saving the configuration, once the Status of the Report Center changes to On, it indicates that the VDC has successfully integrated with the Report Center.
