[VDI] Video redirection no take effect

Issue Description

Configured video redirection on VDC, but there is no optimization when playing videos.

Handling Process

  1. Access path of VM %vdi%\SrapMMR and extract SangforRedirection.zip
    file

  2. Go to Chrome extension page, select Load unpacked and choose the extracted folder
    file

  3. Access chrome://flags/#legacy-tls-enforced in Chrome and change the setting for “Enforce deprecation of legacy TLS versions” from ‘Default’ to ‘Disabled’
    file

  4. Restart Chrome

Solution

  1. Install video redirection extension in Chrome
  2. Disable Enforce deprecation of legacy TLS versions

Suggestions

This is applicable to STD-500 and STD-600 thin clients, with virtual machines running Windows 7 or later, and is only compatible with Google Chrome 51 or later. The STD-500 thin clients support redirecting only 1 tab, while the STD-600 thin clients support redirecting up to 2 tabs at same time.
