Issue Description

After logging in to VMP, a warning indicates that "VDC license has expired. affects normal operation. Please get authorization ASAP"

Error/Warning Information

Handling Process

1. Check VMP and VDC license, both are valid and activated.

2. Check VDC clustering, found that VDC has cluster enabled

3. Login to secondary VDC (dispatch server) and check on the license and found that the status is not activated.

4. For VDC deployed in cluster, the secondary VDC requires a new set of (0-User) key.

5. Consult license team and get new (0-User) key for this secondary VDC.

Root Cause

1. Secondary VDC license not activated.
2. Normally when creating a new VDC, the key is automatically generated.
   (It is a non activated key)

Solution

Get new key for the secondary VDC and ensure the status is shown as ‘Activated‘.
