Issue Description

WANO Bridge deployment with VPN. Client not able to guarantee bandwidth of a specific traffic.

Error/Warning Information

Handling Process

1. Confirm bandwidth control configured correctly
2. Confirm that the traffic pass through our device
3. Packet capture found out that the traffic pass-through VPN tunnel

Root Cause

Traffic which through VPN connection might cause the traffic to not be recognized. This is because traffic go through VPN connection will be categorized under VPN category and thus unable to match the Bandwidth Management channel.

Solution

In order to control the traffic that pass-through VPN connection, just enable Control over application categories in VPN Tunnel to ensure the Bandwidth Management working properly.
